A wonderful local park that offers a playground for children (swing set, slides, climbing activities, etc.), a pavilion with picnic tables (can be reserved for events, such as birthday parties), a pond with ducks and geese, a walking trail and path (around the pond + in the pine thicket), a splash pad, and a disc-golf course.

The park is well-maintained and safe. The playground is small but entertaining for young kids. There is a public restroom on site. You can feed the ducks and geese located around the pond [no bread please! Please do research on what food to feed them. :)] The walking paths are great for exercise, walking or running, and the park is dog-friendly so it is appropriate to walk a dog, too. The disc-golf course is open to anyone and is located in the pine thicket. Bring your own discs. The park has a nice atmosphere and is located in a good area.

Seasonal city events are held here from time to time, such as vendor markets where a variety of approved vendors sell merchandise or food/drink.

This is a great, family-friendly place to play, exercise, or enjoy...

We really like this part a lot! It has a lot of activities as far as the playground. It's got a lot of climbing things that you can do but also the original, favorite slides and such. It has swings but only four, it has a splash pad that is open during the summer but we haven't gotten to do that yet. We really look forward to it this summer! They have ducks and geese that are in the pond right next to the park, they've got a tennis court or caged in baseball area, never been over there so not sure. There's also an area where you can do a birthday party or just sit down and eat. They even have bathrooms! It's clean and we always really enjoy our time here. It's just a...

My daughter and I went to walk on the path because this one is under the pines. We went @4:30 and there were very few people. We started at the pond, where we saw several turtles paddling at the surface. Them we walked the entire path, which circles back to the pond. We heard and saw many birds. The shade provided by the trees is much needed as the summer heat builds. When we made it back to the pond, some geese and ducks were there. We had a little concern they would be defensive, as a few fuzzy goslings were among the flock. But we kept our distance and the geese stayed...

This is a very family friendly park. Lots of swings and an elaborate jungle gym give the younger ones something to do. The pond is nice too, with lots of turtles, ducks, geese and some rather large fish. Bring some bread to feed them all and they will entertain you. I didn't use the toilet so I can't comment on the cleanliness. Lots of walking trails too. Very beautiful.

Beautiful landscaping, clean restrooms, camera security, splash pad for kids, nice big pavilion for parties, bbq, several picnic tables and benches. They also have a big fenced pond with ducks and geese. The trail goes around it into the part of the larger part of the park with large shady trees. One of the best city parks I've been to!
