We thought the alpacas were dead. They were sprawled on the ground as we walked up. Nope. That’s how alpaca sleep - like the dead. The inside was splendiferously full of produce. The corn and strawberries were amazing, and I loved perusing the back room packed with all kinds of alpaca-made stuff. We were there too early for the ice cream truck parked out front, but it looked adorable with its ice-cream cone trash cans adorning the stairs to the counter.

A unique farm market with a disarming array of disparate items for sale. It includes an "alpaca shop" which sells socks, stuffed animals, wraps, sweaters, lots of items with a 'Peruvian connection.' A couple of alpacas are housed nearby outside. Yarn from their alpacas is available in the shop

Good produce at fair prices. We are glad we stopped and picked up a few items that we had on our shopping list for the grocery store. The Alpacas were rather interesting, and they seemed interested in seeing us as much as we wanted to see them.

Very nice young lady at the register. Bought four massive ears of corn and two fresh tomatoes heavily laden with fresh juiciness! Cooked the ears the same day; the most sweet, firm but tender kernels you can dream of! Paid about seven dollars and change. Worth every shilling. Just navigate to 144 Buttermilk Lane,...
