I used to hike this park weekly, years ago, before my health took a turn for the worse.
I hiked practically every trail and loved every minute of the experience. In fact, I'd like to have my ashes spread there when I leave this life, if possible.
Though it is more crowded these days, it is an amazing gift which has been bestowed upon the citizens of thousand oaks CA by the powers that be.
Go! See this historic place for yourself! Wuthering Heights was filmed there, as was Gunsmoke and scores of other early television shows.
Remember to visit the falls and hike the Santa Rosa trail up the mountain, that view is spectacular!
