Mount St. Mary's University — Attraction in Thurmont

I loved my time here at the Mount. It was the perfect blend of college life for me: remote enough to feel isolated from the outside yet close enough to get anywhere in a short distance; competitive athletics that brought out student support; and academics that prepared me for my career after graduation. The scenery of the campus and surrounding area was beautiful. I spent plenty of time (but also not nearly enough) biking, hiking and otherwise enjoying the outdoors. There were plenty of activities to keep you busy. I personally enjoyed the small campus, although for some there may not be enough "action" to keep you excited. It worked well for me. The campus is geographically located in a superb place, within a stone's throw of DC, Baltimore, even Philly and south Jersey weren't that far away. Such a very beautiful campus! Staff and the students we met are very nice and helpful. I'm such a proud mom that my daughter is choosing to attend this Mount St. Mary's University.
