Camp Reynolds (West Garrison) — Attraction in Tiburon

Angel Island is a nice day adventure. We kayaked over from Sausalito and were lucky enough to stay overnight in the old garrison as we were with ETC guides. The ferry from Sf and Sausalito takes you to the Island. 360 degree views from the middle of the bay. It was the "Ellis Island of tbe West" so a venture to the Immigration Center is a must. We went to Camp Reynolds on a 4th/5th grade field trip which is part of the living history program the state park does. It was the most amazing field trip ever complete with militia training, flag signaling, baking, cooking, compass hike, night hike to the top of Mt Livermore, night watch duty, and canoneering.
