The Hippe Tree — Attraction in Tiburon

One of the most beautiful sunsets i’ve seen jk the bay. there’s very little parking right next to the “trail” entrance but if you drive farther up the road, there is a small curb that was empty when i arrived and left. you could either walk down the road from there to the main trail entrance or walk a little farther up the road where there is another trail that also leads to the swing. the best view isn’t from the tree but is on the hill above the swing where you can see the sf skyline, golden gate, and the richmond bridge behind. it is insanely cold around sunset and isn’t...

I can not believe how beautiful this spot is. The swing is very well constructed Its hard to believe that the swing exists. Most of the time the park rangers cut them down. This must be a piece of private property. Please be respectful of the neighbors its not to hard to find get their early there is only about four parking spaces on the opisite side of the road you will see a grey gate barrier just head up about 100 yards you will see the swing to your left. Nice view but maybe that's it. Only one swing seen (others may have broken off) and it's ridiculously hard to get up on without a step stool. Groups come for photo opps are loud and ruin the peacefulness of the area. Awkward wait just to try out the swing. Parking is also in front of residential areas...
