Historic Woodlawn Cemetery — Attraction in Toledo

The cemetary itself is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. It has lush green grass, tons of foliage, and people-friendly wildlife. However, I gave this place a ONE STAR because of the absolute disrespect for the deceased. Many of the tomb stones were overturned or misplaced, several of the grave markers were starting to sink into the ground or/and the ground around the marker was beginning to grow over the marker. Also, to top it all off there were very distinct tire tracks where someone had blatantly ran over several of the grave stones. The caretaker doesn't seem to care what happens to the grave stones and it was a complete disgrace to see how ill kept the entire...

Outside of the place its self 😌 i recently went to pay respect to my love ones when I got stuck in a ice patch that wasn't properly clear not tripping on that but its when I called the office ,and Jan-jin- picks up and say they can't not and will not help, Me and my kids out...where there too see they great grandmother who birthday it was but she told me they can not let me use a shovel the disrespect of them half of my family laying to rest there but there no Courtesy for us idk if its because im black or not but I don't think if I was white i would have had that problem especially after she hung up the phone so said they don't respect the ppl...

This is a very wondedrful cemetery. It is well maintained and clean. It is a great place to walk your dog. It has a lot of historical merit. You can see a lot of the history from Toledo if you look at the names on the stones. I like to walk here a lot. It has a nice lake and river running through it. It looks great in the fall.
