Ottawa Park — Attraction in Toledo

Ottawa Park has plenty to offer everyone. This park really has it all. The Jogging, running, walking and bike trails take you through some beautiful scenery. The Golf Course provides the perfect place for anyone to get out on the green. Many playgrounds scattered throughout the park offer a fun day with the kids. The sledding hill off Upton St. has provided generations a place to get out in the winter for some family fun. To Top it all off, The Ottawa Park Ice Rink! It has served as one of the very few places (until recently, the only outdoor) in the area to introduce generations to the sport of Ice skating. Now Partnering with Tam-o-Shanter, they offer the opportunity for many children to learn the exciting sport of Ice Hockey! The only drawback from 5 stars, is the neighborhood surrounding Ottawa park. What can I say about Ottawa Park I live across the street from it taking my granddaughter there and she has made some amazing little friends the families who take their kids there have they themselves been taken there by their parents and they have shared stories with me of the wonderful childhood memories they have when their parents have taken them there they also have this fantastic BBQ area and a beautiful fireplace I highly recommend you bring the family friends create memories there. Just barbecuing but am I having the children just run free in this spacious Park it's also nice to have the Police Museum next door and the police station next door to that he's safe place for the whole family a safe place in my community...

I lived a Great Portion of my life in the area, picnicking, Sledding and Ice Skating at this Park but never knew that this Feature was here. This is a Hidden Jewel in the Middle of The Toledo Ohio Rat Race. The Event my friend and I Attended Was a Free Weekly Thing and they are every Week during the Summer. There are Also many different Events at The Amphitheatre in the park. I had been hearing about this but had never Expected it Was this Tranquil and The Entertainment would be What I Experienced.
