I paid the Service Department at Lone Star Marina to winterize my boat which had 122 engine hours. I told the technician that the Supra was equipped with a heater core which required air to be blown through the lines to drain the core. The technician said that they were familiar with the service procedures to do the job. The winterization price was $189.00 and the receipt showed a quantity of 9, Part 823026, Antifreeze on the receipt. After taking the boat to the Supra dealer for a 100 hour service prior to use this season, I was informed that the heater core had frozen and ruptured. I contacted Lone Star Marina in person and by phone several times requesting to speak with the owner who I had met on several occasions. I told Lone Star that the boat had not been used, and that it could be inspected and the same hours verified at the dealer in Lewisville. I was never contacted by the owner by any means, or just out of respect. After waiting several weeks, and unable to use the boat, I had the heater core replaced at the Supra dealer.
