Tiki Hut — Restaurant in Tool

So this little hidden gem is awesome. The atmosphere was great and I can only imagine how awesome it is in the summer time. Buy unfortunately the food was not as expected! Let me explain when the food came out man picture perfect, except the fries they were a bit over cooked no biggie. The problem was with the taste, it just didn't have have seasoning!! We had the brisket burger and the avocado burger! The brisket burger killed me cuz the brisket was spot on the was it was beautifully cooked, but it lacked seasoning, so sad! I figured some BBQ sauce would fix it, but it was to late even the sauce could fix it. The avocado burger needed if anything some salt. So some seasoning and some salt will fix these burgers right up. Kids had the catfish which was okay it just had a strong odor of catfish, a little to much! The seasoning breading was good so I was happy about that! We also tried a Margarita which again beautiful in appearance, was delicious, but needed a little more alcohol and we are not alcoholics, just saying. The service was decent and good since I believe foods made to order. But man these folks were very friendly and helpful which is always welcome. I'd come back again just throw a little seasoning on that...

Worst service ive had at lake. Our group had 4 kids so it took the kids a second to tell me what drink they wanted and waitress rolled her eyes and was obviously annoyed. Its a sunday and was not packed at all. Waitress brought food out and set it on top of my sons kindle. Drinks for entire table were all empty and never refilled till end when i asked if she would please bring us refills. We went to the down stairs to look at store on way out and lady with blonde hair rudely yelled at us and the other two groups of people "were trying to close" and literally was shoeing us out. The other groups were shocked as well at how bluntly rude she was being. Great location n could be great bc i love having kids able to see fish and the surroundings but bc of the horrible employees we dealt with then will not be ever going back...

We waited well over 25 minutes for two Crown and Sprites ,one Budweiser and a shot. While we sat at the bar it was sticky unclean. The bartenders and waitresses had no idea what they were doing or the prices of anything, I feel they should have given them more training before putting them on the floor like that. The 2 mixed drinks where watered down and soda was flat, and it tasted like there was soap still on the glasses. Even the older lady that was working there tasted our drinks and agreed there was something not right. She was willing to remake them. She was the sweetest. The younger staff were unable to answer any questions about the place that they worked at or the prices of anything. I think it'll be a while before we go back there. Tried to charge 28$ for one bottle beer and 1 shot of bottom shelf ...
