New Playground at Queeny Park in Ballwin, MO. About 30 min from STL! An all inclusive completely fenced in park for littles and those with disabilities. Such an amazing morning to spend here! #playground #stlouismo #sahm

Queeny Park is one of my favorite places to hike in the St. Louis area—beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect mix of nature and accessibility. The trails are well-marked and offer a good variety, whether you’re in the mood for a leisurely stroll or something more brisk and hilly. You’ll find paved paths, wooded sections, open fields, and even a few scenic overlooks. It’s especially gorgeous in the fall and spring! There’s plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and spots to rest or picnic along the way. Bonus points for being dog-friendly—my pup loves it just as much as I do. Whether you’re hiking solo, meeting a friend for a walk, or just looking to get a little movement in, Queeny Park delivers a solid outdoor escape close to the city. Queeny is arguably one of the best places to run in STL. It isn't super busy during the day and is practically a ghost town in late fall to mid-spring. Although it isn't the most popular park in the area, it is maintained excellently and always has cops on patrol. Along with being well maintained, the trails are great for running because most of them aren't paved but instead are gravel. This limits the strain put on your ankles, knees, and hips making recovery much quicker and ensuring you can keep running for years to come. The day they pave the trails is the day I change my rating from a five-star review to a four-star review because I'm sure the trails will still be safe and in good shape but the gravel makes this park incredible. Also, pro tip: if you're approaching the park from the East side (on Mason), be careful as the roads are narrow with no shoulders and people like to speed on them but other than that, it's a...

A perfect park for walking, running, or even biking the rugged Trails. Much of it is unpaved in there is plenty to explore on and off the trails. This is excellent bird watching and other ground-based animal watching. There is a playground for children and a couple different areas and all and all this is one of the best parks in the area for getting the heart...
