The Wassaic Project is one of the most creative and unique opportunities to engage with emerging artists that I've experienced. Maxon Mills (the heart of the Wassaic Project) is a 6-floor grain mill once abandoned but now transformed into a curated gallery space, combined with a hands-on creative space for kids to freely make art, and studios for the artist residency program. In addition to excellent curation, the Wassaic Project openly provides numerous ways to engage with the growing arts community and the town itself throughout the year. It's the kind of magical place you want to tell everyone about, but also keep a complete secret for fear that it will become overrun...

I can guarantee this art exhibit is unlike any you've ever viewed before! There was a wide variety of art on display. The building is very unique, and leads to a great view of the surrounding town. The building is unique and the installations very professional. Overall, it was a great way to spend an afternoon and we can't...
