Great place to take your kids on a whim. Boy parks have changed since i was a kid. Our fun was avoiding having to get a tetanus shot if you cut yourself on the rusty merry go round. Practically zero chance of them hurting themselves here.. If they happen to trip and fall the futuristic equipment here will bounce them back to their feet so quickly you'd have to do an instant double take to even notice. Oh great wood planked informational walking trail too. Though 'NO BIKES' is clearly posted you'like have to watch your little ones for you'll certainly encounter quite a few. If your kids aren't paying much attention you can just dump the bikers in the water on either side. So in retrospect I guess this park isn't completely void of the old school...
Read moreThis is a great Park that I took my son to. I love the boardwalk that's over the Swampy area. We can Traverse and otherwise inundated area and stay nice and dry. I also enjoyed the various shaded parts of the walk as well as the many benches that were around. This is a part that I would definitely bring my older parents to and they would enjoy it as well as could take frequent breaks as needed. Additionally there is a kid playground that you could hang out at for hours as well. So it really has all bases covered if you want to hike or hang back and watch your kid burn energy on the playground. I appreciate all the cool public parks there in the area that I never knew about. This is one I'm definitely going to be coming back to....

The Town Board, during its meeting on Monday, established the former Margaret Louise Park as “Billy Wilson Park on Hopkins Road” in honor of Army Staff Sgt. William “Billy” Wilson III.
The park is located at Hopkins Road at Randwood Drive, near Williamsville North High School.
A resident of Getzville, Wilson, 27, was a squad leader assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 172nd Infantry Brigade headquartered in Grafenwoehr, Germany.
