This is a beautiful spot,rich in history and scenic,it is well maintained peaceful,a nice play area for kids,hiking trails and a few nice little cabins are available for rent as well as the covered pavillions,there are grills and picnic tables provided,lots of room to roam.Growing up our family rented the largest Pavillion for reunions that easily accommodated our needs for a well attended annual event with about 75 people at any one time a nice little get away from the hustle and bustle.Would recommend for others

Wonderful natural park with a long and interesting history of local battles and wars. Beautiful view. Hiking trails. Battle reenactments and permanent, era appropriate buildings to go with. Camping, cabins to rent and tenting, some playgrounds, gazebos for parties, a big main building with a kitchen you can rent for big parties or weddings. Close by and totally worth the explore!
