There are two sides to this park and itās quite a different experience depending on how you enter.
If you park at Hubbard Rd then itās quiet, there are some nice paths including a sometimes mowed big grass road from the lot to the woods. From there there are various trails trodden down by animals and people over the years. You can get a little lost.
The other entrance is accessed from Olean. This is a more developed park with a boardwalk, a sledding hill and some prepared paths. The land is a little flatter.
All in all, Hubbard is great for some hiking with dogs, you wonāt see many others if any. olean is typically busier, itās the side closest to the village. Both are nice, but are different. The trails go near the Cazenovia Creek which is kayakable most of the year. However the distance from the parking lot to the kayak launch point is pretty far.
