Robert Moses State Park Field 2 — Attraction in Town of Babylon

Could be a lot better. The concession stand felt so disappointing! Where do I start. Oh! Was hungry wanted to grab like a combo fish n chips right? After all seafood/beach helloooo! Well I was talked out of it by the clerk taking my order and told very small pcs fish and ... While I appreciate being talked out of a bad deal I mean really. Ok so I decided to go for JUMBO hot dog now I'm thinking ok like Nathan's at Coney Island ! Not even close. Was very disappointed that it wasn't beef (not sure what it was) like I said was hungry . but it was so SMALL not JUMBO at all. Ok so I like beer. Ok wouldn't be DRAFT but not even 16 oz bottle but a 10 oz CAN of BLUE MOON at that! I felt lied to and cheated out of the almost $20 it cost me. Very poor mgmt no interest in actually pleasing customers...just BLAH! Well serves me right for not bringing my own. They have Bbq pits and picnic areas. So Thank you for vowing never to show up without my own...

I normally love Robert Moses Beach but after yesterday I'm disappointed in them and their policies. They have a no alcohol policy which they do not enforce. They also allow glass bottles onto the beach. There were dozens of people in our little area blatantly carrying glass beer bottles on the beach. I don't care if people drink but I do care if they leave glass on the beach. If the state park doesn't care about alcohol then change the policy and make rules that protect beach goers. I contacted the park office and they told me they clean the beach every morning so I shouldn't worry. Ok fine, but what happens if my child gets cut between 1pm today and tomorrow morning when you...
