Very good beach, good views, clean sand and water. The parking lot is probably the smallest of all of the fields located at Robert Moses State Park for the public, but it's still sufficient and has easy access to the beach. Good, working facilities with showers (private outdoor), bathrooms, and retail/shopping, etc.

Robert Moses Park is a really nice place to relax in the summer days there are few nice beaches off the ocean 😎 it's more of a quiet Park not too overly crowded, as the sun sets in the evening you will see one of the most awesome sights around.

Park has some managment issues right now, particularly with traffic patterns on bridges. Can take 20 minutes or 2 hours to drive from the mainland depending upon what "strategy" they have implemented. Today was 1 hour 50 minutes on the bus from Babylon Train station to Field 3 at Robert Moses on a particularly busy Sunday. Closing lanes and diverting traffic as was done today is not helpful. Furthermore, complete lack of proper policing on roads led to dangerous and recklees driving on the shoulder of the road and a lot of unnecessary slow downs. Suggest implementing better road management and perhaps even tolls to cut down on car volume and increase funding for an expanded bridge. Increase incentives for public transportation usage. MTA is charging more this year but service is worse.

The beach itself is one of the nicest in the Northeast, but can have very rough surf though for little kids in some places. Sad to say we ended up having to clean up a lot of plastic and trash from the sand just on our short walk down the beach. Leave no...

We arrived at field 3 about 9am on a hot muggy Saturday morning. There were plenty of parking spaces, the lifeguards were on duty, the bathrooms were very clean, and beach apparel such as hats, sunglasses and cover ups were for sale. There was a cooling breeze off of the ocean and we stayed until well in the afternoon. The lifeguards were quite attentive, which we liked. There were very sweet kids selling homemade jewelry near the beach entrance for a few dollars. They were so sweet and attentive to my 5 year old niece, and let her sit with them while they made beaded bracelets. All in all a...

Nice beach, many parking fields, traffic can be difficult getting in at times, usually there are parking spaces available. Rest rooms and showers are adequate, not luxurious. Food and beverages are available at a concession pavilion, moderately priced, fast good type selections. Small list of draught beers available. Some places in the fields have stations with grills for outdoor picnics. Beach areas maintained adequately, water quality is normally good. Bathing areas are staffed with life guards. $10 entrance fee, but there is no entrance fee if you hold a NYS Empire...
