We have been here twice. I would love to see this place survive and thrive long term. It’s a very cool concept with the live bison. My concerns are that the food wasn’t consistent. Bison burgers and pulled bison not flavorful at all and was very dry as if pulled bison was made days before and reheated. That was the case twice now. We cook bison and venison all of the time at home and it’s always flavorful. You need to step up your game on the spices and rubs you’re using to kick up the flavor and cook to medium not well done. Also, charging $10 for a can of ipa is too much. You charge $6/can and 4 people at a table will drink 3/cans each. You charge $10 they all drink 1/can each. In addition, the per person charge for bison viewing is excessive. Should be included if a family spends money on lunch/dinner there. Again, just trying to provide some corrective criticism for ownership. If the restaurant area and the bar were packed on a Thursday night at dinner time I’d stand corrected. But the fact that there were only 3 tables occupied and nobody at the bar proves what I’m...
Read moreBeautiful building, otherwise disappointing. Being in food service industry myself, I understand things happen & I try not to be too critical, but unfortunately start to finish was not good. We were shivering the whole time, it was so cold needing a coat to dine. The service was slow but pleasant. "Don't do coke in our bathrooms" sign was off putting. The sodas were flat. Our order was wrong. The chicken was way over cooked. Little to no flavor in any of it: Waffles, burgers, home fries. The sliders were just meat & bread, no pickle, no cheese? $107 bill to be unhappy. And my whole family ended up with stomachaches afterwards. Could be fantastic if better...
Read moreAlways a pleasure coming here. We have visited here for farm trail days every year since we have moved here. The wagon ride is the kids favorite part of our visit even over the bounce house. They each got a small squishy cow head as well. We have not tried the restaurant that they have here as well but soon we will. I have only heard good thing about it and it always smells so good when entering. They have the most beautiful wood work in the whole building they also have a gift shop as well! It is all around a great place to visit for quietness or just to learn about the bison in general. We definitely will...
