Dollar General — Local services in Town of Bath

I purchased a 3 piece set for a keyboard... As I got home I found out the keyboard was missing from the package.. I took it back to get it exchanged. The cashier never gave my my receipt. Not only that the money was never put back on my card... I returned the next day to talk to the manager. She was rude and looked at me when I was dumb when I showed her my receipt on my phone.... She told me there was nothing they could do and to talk to the cashier who messed up my purchase.. so now I'm out of 30 dollars. The manager said there was nothing they could do.... Very rude employees.. I have no pending transactions on my account so the money was never refunded. So I guess it's okay to just steal my money. They wouldn't even exchange for a cheaper product. So I walked out empty handed and no help to understanding what's going on.. very poor customer service. I'll never return to this dollar general again... They wouldn't even help me with what was going on nor did they help me look up the item that was messed up.....

If I could give this store a negative 10 stars , I would. The guy stalking tall, skinny dude scruffy looking. Very rude. I asked him if I could walk / get by him. He told me to walk around the other way. Also, he said," I don't come to your job and bother you at your job, so why are you bothering me." There was a girl co-worker next to him, she kept her mouth shut and didn't say a word to correct him . There are four other customers standing in a line up front waiting to be cashed out. The people up front were trying to get the cashier's attention. In my opinion, they didn't want to be bothered. This will be my last time ever entering a General Dollar Store. I dropped everything on the nearest shelf, and I left. I'll never be back. General Dollar stores , normally, are my favorite store's. This store is so new, bright and shiny, yet it doesn't show..at all. The manager is so despondent and annoyed by being there at all. This is the face of the company? Really? I've tried to engage him in lighthearted conversation, he's like a blank, bleak wall. They hate getting customers, dealing with them at all. And the store? A merchandising nightmare. What are they doing??? Has anyone from 'Dollar General' checked on this store? Like since they opened? I wish this were my store! So much potential, crammed in the corners, unrealized.
