This was a beautiful and sandy beach with lots to do in the vicinity. We grabbed some delicious fish tacos from Corny Fish Shed, then walked along the pier and talked to some fishermen. We watched the sunset, walked along the beach and checked out the old boats, played on the playground and filled up water jugs with the artisan well water.

This is the such a great beach. We even went swimming a couple weeks ago because it was such a gorgeous day IN SEPTEMBER!! I've spent a lot of time on this beach the past few weeks. To relax, to watch the water, read my Bible, to pray. It's such a gorgeous view.

Cornucopia Beach in Washburn County is a picturesque beach located on the shores of Lake Superior, offering clear water, soft sands, and stunning views. Green Shed Museum is located here as a unique glimpse of the past.

Large sand swimming beach with free dirt parking and a playground.

There is nothing fancy about it. It has natural potential but it's missing some features that could make it a must-visit destination for travelers passing through. For example, some civic investment in a paved parking lot, boardwalk to beach, and nice bathrooms could make it much better. With a food truck or refreshment stand, this could be a beautiful...

Discovered this quite by accident. We were going on a cruise out of Bayfield but took an alternate route to get there - wouldn't have discovered this place otherwise. Didn't have a lot of time to explore, but I hope to get back there one day to do so. Took quite a few pictures. The thing I appreciated most was the outdoor bathroom facilities. It was an actual bathroom with plumbing and electric hand driers. Not an...

Scenic, nice, and generally relaxing, but.. Dog owners beware: Our Husky got into some discarded devils lettuce, or equivalent (THC), in the sand at some point on this beach during our 1-hour visit. Completely unaware of what occurred, we left and arrived in Bayfield. Dribbling pee, unable to walk straight, lethargic, later agitated. Over 24 hours for the dog to fully recover. Disappointing visit...
