Woodstock Audience Field — Attraction in Town of Bethel

To think of how many people were possibly concieved at this exact location, this exact field, completely and soley out of the concept of Free love, it's amazing. I bet over a thousand people where concieved at this exact location during the days of the Woodstock event. Must have been awesome to have been there back in the day, to take in the entertainment, the live music, the rip roaring crowd, it must have been a truley mesmerizing moment of United States and New York State and especially rock and...

Even though I visited this site 2 years ago I felt "the ghosts of Janis Joplin & Jimie Hendrix milling about". It felt like "holy ground" being at Woodstock again.

There's a museum located on the property to view the costumes and tv screens replaying the concert of 1969!!! A tribute to the concert promoters and fans for their participation in this spectacular event.

Great to actually see with your own eyes. It’s amazing to think that so many people fit into such a small area in the middle of nowhere. The grounds are clearly marked and very well kept. Graffiti is there, yes, but in a respectful way. “The Peace Tree”, and the offerings at its base fascinated me for some reason. Just a cool place with a cool...
