Nice park on the river. The park is pretty basic but it would make a great place to have a family picnic as a highlight you are right on the Hudson river and I believe they even have a boat launch. Additional handy well maintained amenities consists of a pavillion, sports field, children's playground, numerous picknick tables, and handy restrooms. Read moreI visited this park for a retirement party and it was the perfect location! There is a huge shaded pavilion to use for an event like this or even a birthday party!
There are bathrooms nearby to use as well which makes it great for families. There are tons of picnic tables and grills.
There is a small playground for the kiddies to play which was a super plus for me! There's a boat launch if you drive down a little further as well.
And to top it all off you get an amazing view of the Hudson River! It's a must visit park for sure...

There is a good amount of tree cover in the park along the river, so you have some shaded spots. Boats and the Amtrak train on the other side of the river occasionally roll on by.
