I haven't seen most of this park yet, but I have used it a couple of times as an access point to the Erie Canal Heritage Trail (entering from Sawgrass Dr).
The pond looks nice, and has had a number of ducks and geese when I visited, even though it was nearly winter. I imagine there are even more during the warmer months.
The trail connecting the park to the Erie Canal also seems to be home to a wide variety of birds, and it makes for a good starting point for a walk...
Read morePoison ivy farm! Nice little park with lovely trails around a pond. Little playground in the sun to play on (could use more shade). However, there is a ton of Poison ivy anywhere there's woods, even hanging right into the picnic pavilion. Pavilion is pretty dirty too, lots of litter. Lots of potential but needs more upkeep - mostly to get rid of the poison ivy! Some little toddler is going to walk...
