Cedar Beach — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

I have been coming to this beach for many years. Today I would like to say from the very bottom of my heart ♥️ THANK YOU To all of the Incredible Lifeguards at Mount Sinai Cedar Beach. I experienced a Medical Emergency while sitting in my normal spot near the main likeguard shack as I like to watch these young professionals do their morning workouts & training exercises plus say hello to the many locals doing their morning walking or jogging routines. These young Professionals acted swiftly without any hesitations to render medical aid to me while they immediately called for an ambulance & fire rescue. Last year I had a great time at this beach!... however this year was awful!... we got ticketed 80$ (in the off season) AND their app to pay for parking was broken when we tried 6 times . And they had the nerve to ticket my vehicle as its ON and I'm moment's away from leaving after the day!!! Earlier the same day I had ANOTHER issue with a new rule that wasn't there last summmer, apparently NO DRINKS on the beach!? myself and others around me were upset by this as the bar tells us we have to stay up there the whole time with the drink and offers no to go cup. I couldn't even go tell my sister in law who was waiting for me at the blanket that I need to be be up here a while now because they didn't trust I was coming right back telling me I absolutely couldn't bring their glass...

Cedar Beach may perhaps be the best beach for Sunset Views in all NY! If you take a trip, includes an amazing snack bar and Full table service, local live 🎶. Not many people know of its history and coves, as it was a crucial part of George Washington's Personal spy ring was located.
