Great spot to visit for a day trip. There’s a clean, well-maintained beach with nearby showers and bathrooms. There’s a nearby restaurant — which serves reasonably good, albeit overpriced food.
The Sunken Forest boardwalk is right nearby. Cherry Grove — the historically queer beach community — is less than a mile away, along a designated path through holly, pines, and local vegetation.
