Excellent park. Play structure far from highway if children are wanderers. There are some structures separated by an access road but not used much and the workers are great about watching for kids. Bathrooms open on back part of town hall building near swings. Covered Pavillion with plenty of picnic tables and charcoal grills if you want to grill out. Trails for walking they split off depending how much you want to do but longest isn't over a mile. Island surrounded by water. There are more picnic tables at the top of the hill on the island. Read moreThis is a fantastic and well rounded town park on the edge of the city. There is a large variety of activities for children of all ages here between the sand pit choo choo train, swingset, slides and climbing structures. For the little explorer there are walking paths in the prairie as well as top and around the island for bird watching. The shelter is enormous for a city park, capable of hosting large get togethers.
