You don't see very many aqueducts left in the world - especially not many on the old Erie Canal. Here they rebuilt the aqueduct to carry the canal over Nine Mile creek. The trail follows along the towpath for a few miles providing ample biking or hiking opportunities. Also try your hand at some fishing!

It was just some old abutments for decades. They did a fabulous job rebuilding this structure that carries the Erie Canal over Nine Mile Creek. Great place for a walk or jog or even to take a few casts.

Beautiful place to walk or even run. Very flat. Nice views. Occasional wild life. People who visit generally smile and say Hi as you pass one another! Picture is from a 5am walk.

Wonderful place that I have been going to for last 25+ years and it has barely changed... however the people have ... lot of kids and adults alike swearing up a storm , lot of people throwing rocks when people are fishing and many people keeping fish from the canal when it is catch and release ... times sure have changed guess I just gotta get used to...
