I would have never known of the park’s existence had I not been invited to a friend’s family birthday party there. The park was very nice, with a wide open, yet covered pavilion, beautiful bathroom facilities and an expansive “play” area that was designed to also be inclusive for those with disabilities. I did bring my dog also as there is a nice green space that the dogs could play. If I were to ask for things that I felt were missing, one might be that a smaller pavilion be built to house a portion of the green space so the dogs could have some shade on a really hot day. And maybe something designed to tie an extended dog leash. I had to use one of the large pillars. The second would be perhaps an area on the other side of the pavilion that would have open air grills. Oh wait--it does they also have swings, a teeter-totter, AND GIANT DINOSAUR EGGS, that you can climb on. This is one of the most amazing parks I've ever been to, it is one of my son's favorites, and he had a very long membership to the Strong museum of Play. If you are looking for a local playground, that not only has very great facilities, and it's also directly across from a up and coming developmentally challenged and/or handicapped as in wheelchair children, it is one of the best ways that I can possibly ever imagine a better way to integrate and accustom small children to not have a " fear of other ".
