I am extremely disappointed with Marine Blue's lack of service. My boat/motor sat for almost 3 weeks before I went and took it out of there. They started some work and kept telling me they would send me a quote to authorize the work. I waited and emailed them to start the work and I would still like to receive the quote. No response. I called and emailed more that first week and kept waiting for something, anything. I went to see them the following week to inquire. I was told they are very busy. That's fine, I understand but I simply need you to communicate back to me. I was told face to face that it might be 2-3 more weeks before they can work on it as I was not a priority. That's what you tell customers??? You are not a priority? And the owner Todd avoided any contact with me while I was there. He saw me when he entered the office and slipped out another door to avoid me.
If you are busy, I understand. Just tell me UPFRONT how long it may take and not because I'm not a priority. But I left there asking them to keep me posted. A whole week went by and I heard nothing from them. Todd called me the following Monday and told me what was needed and said they would send me a quote to authorize the work. I called the next day and asked about the quote and they said they were busy. I feel like they were punishing me because I kept checking in with them to acquire what they continually told me they would do. So 2 days shy of having my boat there for 3 weeks, I went and pulled my boat out of there. I had to pay them a lot for what they claimed to have done to date, which wasn't very much. As I was leaving, the owner Todd was outside, He didn't acknowledge me at all.
They did not care, did not follow through, did not communicate and told me twice "You are not a priority"
I was able to get a quote in 5 minutes and an appointment over the phone from another marina the next day.
I will make sure that all of the friends and associates I know from 3 different local bass organizations know how Marine Blue treats customers.

   Read moreI am disappointed in this company with their responses and keeping my money of $178.00. I went with Marine Blue because of their high rating on google. I made the mistake of not checking out if they were a BBB member, which they aren't. The steps for the dock I ordered came out larger than the dock I have. I ordered the size based on Marine Blue telling me how to measure for steps. They ordered steps (6 total) for 36" of water. Of course I had to accept that because they had it written on the quote and I did not pay attention to the size. I had to pay 20% for restocking fee, which I paid. I also paid for shipping and handling for everything I ordered, including the steps. They charged me $178.00 (took from money they owed me back for returning steps, minus the 20%) for another shipping fee, they claim they needed to return the steps, which was not on the quote, only the 20% restocking fee is on the quote. I finally went into the store (1 hour away) when I couldn't receive my $178.00 after several telephone attempts. Todd (the owner) saw me and said, "I thought we were over this?" He turned to Crystal (assistant) and said, "I can't deal with this today, you deal with it", and walked away. I'm not sure if that is appropriate behavior for an owner. I was always pleasant to them and never raised my voice or behaved in a condescending manner. Todd will respond to this as I see he does on his google reviews. Of course all the negative reviews he disputes, none of the customers are right. Just the thought a company does not give your money back is unbelievable.    Read moreExcellent Customer Service! This was my very first time dealing with Marine Blue and I feel extremely fortunate for having done so. First, the store and sales area are extremely clean and organized. No clutter â everything in its place. That should immediately let you know that they 1) are organized and 2) take pride in what they do â and it shows! The entire staff at the counter were warm, friendly, and best yet, Bills fans â Go Bills. Okay, so I digress. I was able to meet and deal personally with the company president, Todd Herbik. He was very helpful and wanted only to make sure I was completely satisfied in my purchase. (I was buying a used boat lift canopy fame and canopy cover.) He even personally brought out and unrolled the vinyl cover so I could inspect it for any damage â there was none. He even met me outside to inspect the canopy frame and offered me some helpful tips when installing it on my own boat lift. When he asked how best to transport it to my lake site, he and I reviewed some options and settle on the one that best suited my needs. Again, Todd really wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. Would I go back? Letâs put it this way. My boat is located on the âAlways Beautifulâ Conesus Lake (go ahead, look it up), I would gladly drive the 25+ miles to Toddâs Marine Blue location for anything marine related, without a doubt.
