Been here a few times because I believe in giving a local business a decent chance, but never again. Someone needs to call the city inspector. Before you even walk in, the front entrance awnings is one gust of wind away from collapsing and hurting someone. I hope he carries liability insurance. Watch out for the gutter too. The Lanes, machines, arcade games are consistently having issues. When you bring it to the employees attention they act so annoyed, or the employee sees the arcade screen change but doesn't pick up the controller. He instantly says, it works and attempts to walk away. I have to tell him again, no, it doesn't work, pick up the controller and try to play then. He tries, and guess what, it doesn't work. Sadly, another retired arcade machine. He won't repair it.
The bathrooms are dirty. The stall is tiny, you almost have to step back into the toilet bowl to open the slimy stall door. I don't recall seeing a handicapped accessible stall either. If he is required to. I don't know.
What's so frustrating about this place is the owner clearly only cares only money.
Seriously, if you're ever there, pay attention to a silver haired man speed walking like a fire cracker is lit under his a&$ when you walk up to the register.
If you read other reviews, other customers say he's a jerk. I read he plowed in a customer who left his vehicle in his lot overnight because he didn't want to drive drunk. If he cared about his customers he'd correct issues like that.
Why doesn't he repair and update, invest some money back into the place? He's booking the venue space. What I'm saying is, he's not one of those owners who have some struggles but they do their very best and repair and update as soon as they can. The kind of owners who save and invest back into the business, in all aspects. They do this until forever. To always stay competitive and successful. He shows no care over the customer's experience....
Read moreWent here as Cedars III was busy with leagues. When we get there, the guy checking us in was visibly hammered. Not just drunk, but hammered. Don’t know his name but he was a bit of a bigger guy, dark hair, bearded with glasses.
Right off the bat he was extremely rude to my wife and I. When I paid with cash, he threw my change onto the counter, then when I asked for my size of shoe, he hands me a size down and says “deal with those”. I understand you might be out of the size I wanted but tell me that.
When we asked to play a second game the same guy said “you’ve got 30 minutes cause I want to go home”. I don’t know how long after we started that he then began yelling at us to hurry up cause they’re closing. Meanwhile there were still 2 other groups still playing as well.
I’ve had issue after issue with this place and I refuse to return after this final time. Get your workers in check or at least teach them...
Read moreThe owner is a TOTAL DICK. Walked in to him YELLING at his employees, right in front of us. Then, no "hello" or "hi" or "welcome"; instead the guy BARKS at my entire family who just walked in the door, telling us too bad, no open bowling, lanes are full, leagues until at least 9:30pm, in ALL lanes.
Not only is the place A COMPETE DUMP that hadn't been updated AT ALL since at least the early 70's, but their staff are TOTAL JERKS to potential customers. Wow.
I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Even the food is not that good, but getting treated as a total jerk the moment you walk in the door, ready to spend at least $100, is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
PLEASE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.
Hopefully they will go out of business soon because it certainly already LOOKS like an abandoned building.
PS. THIS IS HOW YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS. AND TRUST ME, I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE TO LOSE...
