Ozaukee Skateland — Attraction in Town of Cedarburg

The wife of the owner is shockingly rude. We scheduled a birthday party and they were suppose to call us a week prior to confirm the details. This never happened, and we called the night before and were met with just anger and hostility by the wife of the owner. During the party we had the unlimited food package for the kids, she very clearly was not giving children food that were requesting it. They nickel and dime you everyway possible. She was mean to the kids and yelled at a few, they were doing nothing inappropriate. She is just a very hostile individual. If we knew it was going to be this bad, we would have happily just done the party elsewhere. Our final bill was around $800 and it was just an awful experience. It's not even about the money, her poor treatment of our guests was unacceptable. When our guests were leaving they mentioned the things that she said to them that we did not notice. They were also appalled and knew it wasn't our fault. It feels horrible to apologize to your guests because of the treatment they received by the owners of this establishment. They also charged 4% extra for credit card, when we initially called and scheduled with the husband he never mentioned extra fee for credit. We paid deposit with credit card and there was no fee at that time. Just a horrible experience and the birthday was ruined because of it. Do NOT schedule birthday here, I promise they will make it as difficult...

Update - the wall with the bench along the edge of the rink is the greatest upgrade you could’ve made! 😁 you can take a break or adjust your skates or wait for your friend to catch up to you without leaving the rink! I was so happy to see this on a recent visit!

Just had a birthday party there for my now 9 year old and it was fantastic! They were so accommodating and our server, Sky, was just wonderful. Really made sure everything was taken care of and that my daughter felt special on her big day. It was a perfect party and very reasonably priced! All of the staff were very nice.

My 7 year old and I went there for the first time last Friday. It was busy but we loved it! The concessions were run by a friendly pair of staff who kept things moving quickly - the person doing admissions was also very nice!

The games they have scheduled were fun for people of all ages, and my daughter was so excited to participate in them. If it's your first time skating I do not recommend going Friday night as it's pretty fast paced.

I also enjoyed the 2 adult staff skaters who made sure to keep all of the skaters moving smoothly around the rink and correct any problematic skaters right away. We didn't know all of the rules at first, so we got corrected once or twice, but they were very friendly about it!

First thing first the staff was get the owner and the lady at the window rude and racist her called the cops on us saying my cousins smelled like marijuana which they didn’t they had smoked a black and mild and cigarette before coming in he said that they smell like weed his “opinion” Long story short the cops was called they said they didn’t smell no marijuana and left I asked for a refund he refused my child cried because she saw the officers and thought I was getting arrested my baby said her birthday was bad because of that they need a no colored sign because thts what it felt like walking in all the Caucasian family staring at us while we walk in my one and two-year-old great niece and nephew was playing in the play area and Caucasian women came and got their kids From there, my feelings are truly hurt. We are embarrassed because we were treated like that ruined my daughter.
