Captain Spicer's Gallery — Attraction in Town of Clayton

Have you shopped here yet? This gallery is full of cool nautical items, beautiful photo art, painted art and gift ideas for your family and friends. This a destination stop where you can meet a nice owner and feel at home when you walk into the peaceful building. There is a really cool upstairs art gallery with a tight winding staircase, t-shirts to celebrate history and local and even postcards that are different from the other gift shops around. You want to take your time here and really enjoy the art. The owner was helpful with great service. If you want to splurge they even have 100 year little row boat from a yacht that is full of history and character. Glad we stopped here and will have to come back for more conversation...

I lived there 11 years ago and called to see if they still had a clay candle topper with the freighters on it. They discontinued them and found Two with something else on them. I then got a call 3 days later that Susan and Greg, the Owner SEARCHED the store and found the LAST ONE!!! You can't Find that kind of Quality and Care Anywhere Else! This is an AMAZING Store with Amazing Quality Art, Crafts and Candles and Most of all...AMAZING Ownership and Employees!! I recommend that if you are Ever in the Clayton area, no matter What the Season or Temperature, that you take a moment out to visit this establishment!!! Thank you Susan, Greg and Capetian...
