Wine and flowers; the perfect blend of happiness. We have spent time picking out flowers for the yard and then took the tasting wine flight of sampling Northern Flow Wines. This was a great experience of wine and bringing out the flavors described on the tasting sheet. Our personal favorite of the tasting was the Buoy Rocker with the hints of oak, notes of blackberries and that tart finish. The best white wine we tried was the La Crescent that had a delicious blend of apricot, citrus, and tropical fruit. We couldnāt stop enjoying the samples and to give us a little more joy, we ordered the Caulmet Red slushie to go that has the perfect touch of blackberries and fruitiness after taste. We could have enjoyed another flight but know it would be more fun to come back and try another combination of the flavors bring smiles here at Northern Flow Vineyards. This winery/nursery is a great idea. Make this stop while you travel. You got to try the wine, buy some wine to go and we think the merch area is a way to support local. thank you Delukeās Garden Center for sharing wine with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I stumbled on this winery and what a pleasant surprise. I've frequented wineries all over NY state including Long Island's North Fork and the Finger Lakes but the best I've had yet is from this small winery along the St. Lawrence River. My wife and I left with a case and we weren't even planning to purchase a single bottle when we walked in the door. NFV have wines that range from very dry (no sugar) to very fruity. We found the dry wines very flavorful and complex and even purchased a bottle of every wine we tasted because we liked them so much. We had brought along a bottle of Bogle Chardonnay on our trip (vacation in A-Bay) and drank it after having a bottle from NFV but found the Bogle bland and disappointing in comparison even though we regularly purchase this item. If you are in the area, check NFV out because they are a hidden gem in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTraminette here is a revelation; this is the best wine I've had from this region this year, and my wife and I do this wine trail every year. We know what to expect. All of their other wines were good to very good, though the tasting room itself lacks ambiance. It's an unairconditioned corner of a garden store, so if you do stop by (and you should), don't stay too long on a hot day. I'm giving this 4 stars, because I enjoyed what I tasted and have been enjoying what I bought. I'd give it 5, if there was food available, or if I didn't feel like I was drinking in the garden section...
