The entrance to the garden is at the back of the group of buildings. I may have missed the correct driveway, but I had to drive around and across the parking lot, which was full for some event that evening.
Once I got that figured out, the garden was very nice. It's small, and during the fall, many of the flowers are dormant. The trees were beautiful, though. Everything is labeled, but the labels are small.
The layout is quite accessible and there's just about everything you'd want in a botanic garden. I especially enjoyed the "local flora" section, and the grass jungle was a neat idea. I'd love to see the rose garden in spring!

Travelers can stop at Cracker Barrel, Applebee's, or Starbucks next door and stretch legs along easy, wheelchair assessible path with beautiful scenery and well marked flowers, veggies and herb gardens. In the same parking lot is Taste New York store with a little cafe featuring sandwiches, coffee and munchies, all from NY business owners. On Saturdays during the season there's a giant farmers market at Cornell Coop Extention. Easy on off 81 in Binghamton. There is highway noise because it's very close. Read moreEvery Saturday morning during the summer they have the farmers market. I personally love the food vendor outside close to the entrance to the gardens his food is delicious. We go to the gardens after and my wife takes some amazing photographs of all that grows. From perennials that come back every year to all the annuals that the volunteers place and maintain.
