Well-maintained, beautiful unenclosed dog park across the street from Cottle Elementary School, Cottle Dog Park is a quiet yet necessary part of our community. The grounds are meticulously maintained while the grass gets a bit scarce as winter approaches each year. Winters can be a muddy mess due to melting snow but, your dog likes baths, right? There are a few owners who occasionally forget why they are there so always keep a watchful eye on your pooch while also remembering to clean up after they finish their business. A clean park is a safe park!

I was honestly confused upon first arriving to this park because I thought it was part of a golf course - it was so beautiful that it was hard to believe it was meant for dogs. This park is beautiful and very well maintained! Lulu and I had an amazing time there. We will be coming back and probably donating money to help maintain its upkeep.

Was so excited to bring my dog here but unfortunately the other irresponsible dog owners made me feel otherwise. Upon entering, there were two (what appeared to be) white and brown pit/bulldog mixes with two women (one younger and one older). They let their dogs off leash and one immediately ran up to my dog on the street by the entrance with its mouth wide open trying to bite her. My bf and I waited for them to leash the dog back up (as a responsible dog owner should in that situation) however, they didn’t even attempt to remove their dog from the situation. A few moments later, BOTH of the dogs ran up to my dog again and attacked her and one of the owners said“they feel that your dog is nervous/scared.” Uhm, yeah of course she’s scared she just got attacked by your dog and then again by both dogs. We decided to leave as we were frustrated and scared for our pup’s safety. Dog owners beware of those irresponsible,...

This is not an official "dog park". The property is not fenced in and you are subject to the same sanctions by Eastchester Police for not picking up after your pet and doggie/owner altercations.

My Sami no longer enjoys the space because there are much safer options to socialize her, such as doggie daycare in Tuckahoe. Kennedy Canine which is in the same location as Dr. Anthony Maglino's office who happens to be an excellent vet. One of my biggest concerns is the spread of disease among dogs most recently the outbreak of Canine influenza a highly contagious respiratory virus. Please read more...
