This a very good spot for fall lovers. It feels wilder than other 'park style' ones. There's only two parking spots on the side of a side road that mark the entrance. Even with the driving app telling you that you arrived you might miss it. The walk up to the falls is short, less than 10 minutes. You get three different spots where to look at the dam and the fall, but nature gets in the way with trees and vegetation. The trail feels rough (just a bit) with a little elevation. In a summer weekend, we found a couple persons at the same time, but seems to be a place that really doesn't get crowded. Even though it isn't a big fall, you can feel the strength of water Wich is amazing. There's no facilities of any kind, staff or security. If you get to close to the edges might feel scary or at least uncomfortable. All in all it seems like a private place (Wich I'm not certain if is not), still a great place to check out. Expect a...

Beautiful falls, short hike but not the best view points. Continue past the first view point for more before looping around. Easy for kids, very muddy which they enjoyed, but good footwear for mud is ideal. Talked to some locals who said the access to the bottom had been washed away, we did try one trail off shoot to try and get better views but stopped when we got to an area of dense poison ivy. There was one other off shoot with a nylon rope to a tree that might be worth a try without kids, but I was hesitant with them as it was steep, leaf covered, and muddy. Easy trail, only a couple parking spots and not real busy this...

I absolutely love this location. This was the spot where I proposed to my wife. It’s a great little hike and is a perfect spot for a little picnic with a view of the falls. Taking my kids here is great because of the connection me and my wife have here. I notice throughout the years some wood is rotting on the deck and the trees are hiding some of the falls views, but it’s still a great trial to take a little time off to enjoy it. You can see the pictures I posted with the growth difference. “9 years”….It’s a very easy hike with just a minor steep section. Definitely recommend...

Surprisingly large waterfall in the area! Definitely, a hidden gem. The trailhead is not marked, but google maps was able to locate the small two car parking area. The trail to the viewing platforms and back is about a half mile. The view of the waterfall is fairly good, but is partially obstructed by tree branches. Altogether, there are three places that offer views of either the falls or the Batten Kill. Trail is well maintained and easy to follow. If in the area check it out. Not far from the Ice Cream Man in Greenwich.
