Every detail of our wedding was truly perfect. We always knew Ventosa was beautiful but our initial walk through really sealed the deal when we heard all that you had to offer – the day-of coordination & setup, the in-house catering with delicious food, the accommodations of all allergies all had us excited to book. I have to say, Ventosa was so easy to deal with from our first visit right through our pickup of our cake and dĆ©cor. Jackie Pollino was incredibly patient, responsive, accommodating and sweet. She had great recommendations and was thinking ahead for me when I was in a whirlwind the day of. I completely forgot to fill the wine vessel for our wine mixing ceremony, and I specifically told her I planned to do it myself. Then, I got busy and forgot to set any of it up. She caught that I missed it and took care of it immediately. My mistake could have ruined my ceremony but she saved the day. Every staff member made it their mission to set up my dĆ©cor to my exact specifications, taking care with all the delicate pieces and everything was even packed back up so neatly and protected after, too. The mansion next door - RENT IT! You will be so glad your bridal suite is steps away from your ceremony site. A bridal party's dream - many spacious bathrooms, plenty of natural light, easy parking and entry for your vendors. This impeccably maintained, historic and opulent home made for absolutely stunning photos, and our rehearsal dinner went beautifully here, too. The view of the vines and lake is like no other on Seneca. Staff helped us select the right tent to have brought in for the deck and were accommodating of an early delivery. The ability to get ready right on property made everything so easy for us and our guests. Having to travel would have eaten up precious time that morning. Your bartenders did an amazing job of keeping the party flowing and lines short while being sure not to let things get out of control. That is not easy in a crowd of 130 or more. All food was delicious, hot and cooked to perfection. We got a ton of compliments from guests about the quality, taste and presentation. Their food is simple and classic - they are brilliant at the basics, but elevated. Staff made sure my husband and I had an abundance of appetizers and drinks available right at our sweetheart table so we could enjoy the night and socialize vs. waiting in line, or even worse, going hungry on our big day. It was such a sweet touch for staff to pack up a few containers of my ā€œlate night bitesā€ garbage plates for us to snack on later that night. My cake was also expertly wrapped and protected so I could get it home safely to freeze. Serving wine made from their own vineyard, and their signature Tuscan decor, gave the place a unique and boutique feel - you won't feel like you're in a cookie cutter, rinse and repeat venue like some reception halls. Staff even helped me fill out my marriage certificate which I nearly forgot to do. We quite literally could not have asked for more from this venue and team. They thought of it all and made it happen, most of the time without even being asked. 10/10 experience. Booking a wedding can be high stress and is a significant investment. Looking back, we would choose Ventosa over and over again.

[COVID-19] Patio - good distance, lots of hand sanitizer. Food was served on plastic plates (that looked like ceramic plates but lighter). Utensils were plastic to reduce touch exposure. Wine tasting could be improved—I didn’t expect it to be completely indoors without open windows. While the tables and chairs were spaced out, cleanliness could be improved. The staff could hold the glass stem instead of cupping the glass top (where you would drink from). Since the staff touch the dry erase sheets, markers, ID cards, credit cards... with the same glove... there are opportunities to reduce the touches. The patrons could also just pick up up from the other staff member pouring at the bar instead of being served, or take the tasting cups off the tray instead of being handed each one. [FOOD] Turkey panini was šŸ˜‹. I miss a good pressed sandwich. Cheese was plenty. Turkey was light and not dry. Toscana Pizza was good as well and extra basil would’ve made it šŸ’Æ [TASTING] I like that you mark your choices with a dry erase marker. It’s better than using paper sheets (with COVID-19, more precautions are needed as noted above). These wines were not to my taste. I also did not expect the tasting room to be indoors. You get an empty glass per tasting and little sauce plastic jars with your wine choices so you can pour into the glass as you go down your selection. Not sure if this was the process before, but it definitely is more seamless than having to tell the staff my choices for each round of pouring I’ve experienced at other wineries. [BATHROOMS] Clean šŸ‘ŒšŸ» — ā„¹ļø 30-year old from NYC | prefers Asian food | šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ³generally cooks at home | always looking for a good deal & yummy dishes | šŸ· semi-dry Riesling or Malbec/Merlot | 🄃 Japanese whiskey + Australian gin

10 stars for the incredible views at Ventosa! Located in the middle of the Finger Lakes Wine Country, this winery will give you a little taste of Tuscany without having to leave NY. From wine tastings to live music and weddings, Ventosa is the perfect destination spot to enjoy a gorgeous view will enjoying delicious wine. I highly recommend during the warmer months since you really will be captivated by their gorgeous view and will be very tempted to sit outside but might lowkey freeze your butt off if you try to when it’s not the perfect weather for it. With gorgeous vines and the view of Seneca lake, this place is incredibly beautiful to get married at. We really enjoyed coming here and getting a bottle of their dry Riesling and enjoying the lake view while we had a light lunch. Their cafe food is just ok but I’m happy they do have a variety of hot and fresh food and not just cheese and charcuterie boards (which we love but somethings you just need a little something more). Ordering at the cafe is pretty easy, there’s no table service, you order directly at the counter and when the food is ready, it’ll get delivered to you. They offer up sandwiches, pizza, wraps and soups to name a few. Bottom line, great spot to enjoy the gorgeous outdoor space while sipping vino, do a little picnic and even hang out with your dog, they’re welcome in the outside space only.

If you are brown don't bother coming here. I am a latina women with a half black half puerto rican man. We attended Ventosa Winery on Saturday, July 15, 2023. My man surprised me with a extended weekend getaway for my 35th birthday. He brought me to this winery because the view is absolutely stunning. However, upon arrival we were greeted by Carol, who's teeth were rotting out of her mouth. Out of the 100s of wineries we have been to around the world, never in my life have I been serviced with someone with rotten teeth, who had the audacity to judge us by the color of our skin.

Carol served us a tasting and she walked over to Veronica and told Veronica we needed to pay, which I was perplexed about because I didn't even take 1 sip of my first tasting. We were standing around with 5 other caucasian couples, which not one of them were asked to pay for their $10 tasting. We paid of course. And then after the tasting completed we wanted to purchase a glass to sit down with. Which of course was charged separately, meanwhile the other 5 Caucasian couples were still not charged for their $10 tasting of course because you don't want to ruin their tasting like how you ruined ours and thought I would not notice your Suttle racism.

Little to be known because of this experience it ruined my now finances proposal. He wanted to propose to me at this winery, but he couldn't because I was upset and wanted to leave quickly. Which he has to come up with a plan b now for my proposal.

Ventosa Vineyards please pay your employees a living wage and provide them with health insurance. No one wants to be serviced by a racist with rotted meth teeth.

Brown people please drive down the road 10 seconds, you will have a WONDERFUL time at three brothers winery.

Response to the owner:

This was clearly NOT a misunderstanding. Carol never left, look at the cameras. She simply stepped aside to assist the other WHITE customers. Like I said, I was charged before I even completed the first tasting meanwhile every other WHITE customer enjoyed their tasting without being charged. EVEN when I ordered one drink to have a seat for simply 5 minutes, they still were NOT CHARGED until their tastings were complete. Do not try to defend your employee and insist this was not suttle racism, when it was. By the way it shows how much customer service you have when I simply stated Carol messed up my man's proposal, but yet when a customer complained about being poured too little drinks you offered your email address to try and rectify the issue. Shows how much you care about your customers.

FYI for those reading that person he offered the email address to to fix the issue and probably mailed them a bottle was...
