Watershed Brewing Company — Restaurant in Town of Fayette

Other reviews seem to be "friends n family" reviews. We've been to the previous brew pub at this location and if they didn't survive, these guys don't have a chance. Bland empty atmosphere with zero ambience helped by "boring" staff pouring your drinks. Their only mild beer, a pilsner tasted and profiled like a IPA. No Summer types beers on the menu. Fair wine selection from local Finger Lakes wineries but they pour like they never poured a glass of wine in their lives. And, they won't top off a short pour if a bottle runs out. Don't go, a lot of better places...

This place needs to be seen to be experienced. The public pictures do not do justice to this massive venue. Their beers are excellent and the views of Seneca lake from the deck are magnificent. Catch a sunset here if you can. We did not eat here, but there is food, and it looked very appetizing. There is a stage and they have live music regularly. Very worth a stop on a Seneca lake wine or brew tour if that's your thing, but this is a destination that has power to keep your attention...

A very cool place. You walk in down stairs, and there is a small tap room, but then you go upstairs and you get to experience the full blown barn feel. It has a massive ceiling, and there is a lot of space to sit and hang out. Also the beer is very tasty. I had a smoothie sour, and I loved it.
