Great recreational lake: Crystal clear water, deep in most places, excellent county park (with beach, boat launch, picnic areas, playground, and swimming raft in deep water). Large enough and shaped right for powerboat activities. Water can be a little cold when the wind is from the west, but it’s never been intolerable from June though early September.
