Good cider and good people!! My wife and I made a spur of the moment decision to check out Buried Barrel, and we are so glad that we did! We were on our way to Letchworth State Park and realized that if we waited 15 more minutes, we would be able to get into the park for free. Thankfully, as we were stopped at the stop sign down the road I remembered that Buried Barrel was just down the street if we turned the other way. It about 15 mins before they were supposed to close, but Nick (one of the owners) welcomed us in, poured out some samples and then glasses of cider for us, and kept the quaint little place open for us and a couple of others who were still there until we were ready to leave. He was so friendly, and had many good recommendations for us about where to visit and what to do while we were in town. My wife and I both enjoyed the cider, especially the elderberry flavor. It was a great experience and we are so happy that we turned right instead of left at that stop sign. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area!

Stopped in here today after a trip to Letchworth State Park and it was great! A small family owned business where the owners are both front and centre, greeting you and serving you, and making you feel at home. I had the peach cider and the elderberry cider and both were delicious! Even got a souvenir glass to take home and remind me to drop in next time I’m down at Letchworth. Thanks for the great service and the great cider Nick!

Buried Barrel Cidery is such a great stop if your in the Castile/Letchworth State Park area. My husband and I stopped here after our visit to the park. It’s a great place, super nice staff and FANTASTIC Cider!!! I had the Blackberry Cider and my husband had the original, both were delicious! Definitely will stop here again when we are in this area.

Cool Cidery right outside of Letchworth State Park. The owner Nick was a really nice guy. Very interesting story how the name, Buried Barrel, came about. Had a few samples before deciding on the cider that i liked. Really good cider and at a great price. Ordered a pint of it and got to keep the glass too. Only open on the weekends though since he runs his own dairy farm also. If you are at the park stop in and give it a try. You wont be...
