First time there. I had a seafood combo. Two fried shrimp over cooked, 3 so called scallops...they where a joke. Not bigger then half a marble. Not enough to make a nice 1 small scallops. AND THE TASTE WAS NOT FRESH AT ALL! THEY WHERE FROZEN. and a 1/4 of a piece of fish. All came with a all you can eat salad bar..I guess it was ok. It didn't include the soup at all. Strange cause that usually comes with it. Bread at the bar was very hard and stale. I had sweet potato fries. Comes. With maple topping and butter. When it came out toping was not there had to ask..they brought out honey and butter. Not what was on the menu. Asked for Dr. Pepper got diet pop! Dessert was a cream puff! First one came out it's room temperature. Chocolate topping melted and inside was not a cream but vanilla pudding. Warm! Told the girl it was unacceptable the cream puff is served cold. The service person said well the baker left them out! Really! Dumbest thing coming out of her mouth. I refused it. She came back with a cold one not any better. Baker doesn't have a clue. All and all not sure if I would be back. It was busy but it's new place open in Oct. 23. In area where there are about a dozen restaurants....

First visit was great other than waitress who never revisited table and had difficulty getting and remembering orders. Food was impressive, second visit was takeout ordered "garbage plate" with well done cheeseburgers in it....got home started to eat and the burgers were basically raw. Well we for some reason tried another takeout and other than the wait it went okay. Decided to try another time for dine in. Waitress kept waiting on customers that came in well after us and only took our order after asking what's going on. Placed 4 orders... apparently she only put 3 in so it never came out. 2 of the other 3 orders were wrong and missing things drinks even were messed up and yes this is the same waitress as the first visit and yet again never returned to table for refills or to go containers nothing. Seems to be extremely hit or miss and I've heard the same thing from many others. We will find somewhere else which is unfortunate, we really hoped to make...

Had heard so many good reviews from locals about the new restaurant that we took the one-hour drive to check for ourselves. Couldn't have been more pleased! We ordered Eggs Benedict and Biscuits and Gravy. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection! The gravy was delicious (real sausage in it!) and the serving was generous enough for leftovers this morning. The hashbrowns were crispy but not greasy. Our friends ordered the Western Omelet and a Chicken Cordon-Bleu sandwich,, and both gave their meals two thumbs up. The service was welcoming, prompt and attentive. Loved that everyone (patrons and servers) was friendly to each other--even to people who clearly were strangers or, like us, visiting just for the day. Can't wait to find a reason to dine at the Parkside again--and definitely will stop by next time we visit...

Breakfast was lovely! Our server, Jaime, recommended the English toffee cappuccino which was delicious (and in a fun stemmed glass mug!) and she didn't blink an eye at my very-specific breakfast requests (hash browns--crispy...raisin toast--lightly toasted). Jaime just smiled and wondered if I would want peppers & onions in my hash browns. I would! Make sure to save room for dessert OR just plan to order it to go. The only problem is WHICH dessert to choose (We went with double chocolate cupcakes). This is a great time of year to go as you aren't competing with park visitors who also like to gravitate to Parkside.

Laurie is a one woman army! From greetings us to serving to helping us out, she took absolute care of us. We made a stop on our way to NJ at this diner to get a morning grub in a homely atmosphere. You will not be disappointed. The chef is talented too and the food was out in less than 15 mins. The only feedback would be to work on the potato hash as my wife felt they were over crispy and hard. However, the service overshadowed everything else! Anyone driving through Castille should stop here and you'll be delighted!
