Legitimately the worst “ropes course” experience I’ve ever had. After initial intros and team building we did three activities, none of which could be remotely considered a “low ropes course experience” that we had signed up for. First we stood on this seesaw-type platform and had to balance it out multiple times, then we did a “game” involving swinging back and forth on a rope tied to a tree that was barely a foot off the ground and proved to be repetitive and boring. When we were finally taken to the last activity we were promised something even more exciting and off the ground but it turned out it was a spiderweb of ropes tied between trees and you had to step through without touching them. However by far the WORST part of the experience was our guide Dana. I had no issues with Dana at first, she just seemed woefully unaware that we were in fact teenagers, not preschoolers, however around the second or third activity she seemed to finally somehow clock how bored we all were, and instead of moving the activity along decided to berate us for not being “fully present members of the team”, and yelled at a girl (who has arthritis in her hips) for sitting down when she was talking to us. At the final activity we all just wanted to get it over with, but GOD would she not shut up. She kept berating us for not putting that much effort into it and once again yelled at the girl with hip issues for not being comfortable enough to do the activity. The final straw came when we were watching the last person go through, and she asked us if he made it through safely without brushing the sides of the rope. To us it looked like he did, but apparently that was a trick question and she saw him because she once again started berating us about not being fully part of the activity and creating an “unsafe space” or something ridiculous like that. Keep in mind she is standing 15 feet away from the rest of us on the other side of him facing at a completely different angle. Later once we left we found out she had been berating one of the women who had brought our group here because apparently us was our fault for “acting bored” and that was the reason she had been so awful to us and didn’t take us to any of the fun activities. In summary, feeling cheated and catfished by what this place had supposedly offered and having an irresistible urge to punch Dana...
Read moreOur group from Chicago had an absolutely thrilling time at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures (N3232 County Road H, Lake Geneva, WI 53147). From start to finish, our guides Kk and Jay made the experience unforgettable.
They were incredibly amazing, helpful, fun, and patient—a perfect combination. Kk’s clear instructions and calm confidence helped every one of us feel safe and at ease. Jay kept the energy high and the laughs coming, balancing excellent safety guidance with good humor. Their teamwork was seamless, and both were attentive to each person’s comfort level, ensuring we all had the best time possible.
Despite varying heights and comfort levels within our group, they worked tirelessly to make everyone feel included and supported. It was so much more than just zip‑lining—it was a fun, encouraging adventure in the trees with friends who happen to know exactly how to elevate the experience.
From the smooth check-in to the safe harnessing, stunning treetop views to that last exhilarating zip line—Kk and Jay made our day spectacular. We highly recommend asking for them if they’re available. We’re already planning to return—and Kk and Jay will be at the top of our list of reasons to go...
Read morethis is a tough one, as they have a 4.9 review. i'm sure this is for the actual activity, as opposed to the customer service they provide.
this is what happens when you cancel twice. the first time was due to a cancer diagnosis, and the second concellation was due to rain. in speaking with the "person who represents the owners", chris wegren, there WAS no rain that day and we never called. of course, i do have this call in my cell phone, but it just doesn't matter. this guy is even a real estate broker at baird & warner? just, wow. he tried to bully and speak over us. what an unhappy person. you could tell he was enjoying the call.
this company chose to STEAL our $260+, and not offer anything more than a 15% discount on future business.
i wish i had the health to take them to small claims, but this will have to do.
to reiterate, we have ALL the emails and the phone records, as well as the actual weather for that date.
This "gentleman" is not a gentleman or a great representative, as the credit they gave us for the first cancellation had no time limit. since i'm sure this same unhappy man will answer this review, PLEASE have the "owners you represent" call me?
onto the next...
