NAPA Auto Parts - Volo's Auto Supply, Inc. — Attraction in Town of German Flatts

This was my regular parts supplier, at least it used to be. I stopped to buy a few hydraulic hoses but their machine was not working and they could not make them. I happen to have an Enerpac hose crimper so said I would crimp them myself. The "manager" was very rude, basically ignored me (don't know his name but he had a large beard). The counter rep was more professional and at least talked to me. The "manager" said they had a Weatherhead crimper and would not sell me the fittings or hose. What?? I could not buy hose or fittings? Are they not a parts store? If I need a starter do I need to buy the whole car? The "manager" and a poor excuse of one at that said his special fittings would only work in his special machine. He is very wrong, I have crimped Weatherhead fittings in my crimper and they work the same. So basically he thinks that a Craftsman socket will not work on a Snap-on ratchet. Wow! If I need fuel line I guess I cannot buy it from him by the foot because I have to buy the whole car. What a sorry excuse for a manager. How can you not walk in a parts store and buy parts? I called three other places that day, including another Napa, and all three said they would gladly sell me hydraulic hose, buy the foot or entire roll, and fittings, by the piece or box. I ordered a master cylinder for in-store pickup. Napa was the only store to have it available same day. Immediately the store manager Kendra called to up concerned. I had just missed the window for the parts delivery shuttle. Still she was able to get the part in my hands in an hour at a nearby store and she totally saved the day for both me and my stranded friend.
