New Management needed. Not a positive interview to board my horses here. I have 2 thoroughbreds, one a cross. I solicited this business for long term boarding and to train in lower level dressage. The trainer, who I interviewed with should not be interviewing potential boarders. There needs to be a real farm manager aside from this trainer for oversight and accountability to the owner. To conduct unbiased interviews of customers seeking to board at this facility. Not only was she rude and dismissive, my horses were said to not be “good enough” to train in lower level dressage and to just enjoy ourselves. Her exact words were: “not every horse is cut out to be a dressage horse.” Upon seeing the grain room, I asked what her feeding regimen was? She didn’t offer any information, no supplement/grain/ration balancer reviews. Except to say: “all horses are fed a custom mix.” As a psychology major who DID NOT treat this trainer, she needs to be removed from total control of this facility. Her views and behavior aren’t in the best interest of the owners. She seems very unhappy and insecure. She shouldn’t be interviewing boarding clients. After my interview I researched her background to find that she supposedly trained a thoroughbred all on her own thru the dressage levels. I did not read the reviews before arriving at this facility. The beauty of a facility pales in comparison to the right attitude, confidence level and the intention of training horses.
In reply to the co-owner: yes your farm was the correct place. When your trainer said that my first horse mentioned may not be the right material, I offered info on the second horse, who is a cross of thoroughbred and warmblood. Neither seemed a justified candidate. And she had two, looked like Australian shepherd dogs running free. Your trainer left me in the ring, last thing shown, mounted her intended horse and rode around the arena, I stood there for maybe 90 seconds. I appreciate your offer for a direct call, but after that encounter, I wouldn’t want to see your trainer on a regular basis. I couldn’t handle that kind of animosity. I’m sorry. It’s an...
Read moreKatrin and Brenna are outstanding horsewomen who consistently prioritize your horse's needs. The care and attention given to each animal is of the highest quality-- organic feed, maximum turnout, blanketing, leg wrapping, grooming, etc. Both women deliver lessons and training programs that are effective and rewarding for both horse and rider. They are extremely generous with their time and work closely with each client to ensure a positive experience for horse and rider. The facilities are immaculately maintained (the indoor riding arena is beautiful!) and offer stunning views across the property. I wouldn't want to train...
Read moreVery rude trainer and condescending . Not accommodating to appointment making or inquiries about boarding. Despite the advertisement for space available. Called, left message, and emailed. No response. Finally had to reach out to owner to get a response. Trainer is Very judge mental of boarders horses whether they are deemed valuable in trainers eyes. The illustrated photos don't display the trainers mentality. The facilities may be beautiful but the people involved make or break a place. Trainer is a very unhappy person. Steer clear of the...
