Plamann is a beautiful park! In winter, there is a big sledding hill and great snowshoe and cross country ski trails. I've also seen many people come here to walk in any season. In the warmer months there is a disc golf course, and a man made lake with a beach and concessions. There are: areas for various sporting activities, playgrounds, a children's farm (seasonal), picnic spots with or without pavilions, and restrooms available in the park. Fantastic place for family photos, as well. Check it out!

Went to Plamann Park for the first time today. Beautiful and great for families with kids and small children. They have a small kid farm with goats, cow, rabbit donkey, pigs ECT. With a butterfly trail and a birding trail. Plus a wonderful swimming area for kids of all ages. Plus picnic areas, shade, shelters and clean bathrooms. Concession stand and a 27 hole disc golf course.

SWIMMING AREA REVIEW...Terrible no life vests for little kids really? I understand not having large floaty toys all over but my 4 yr old couldn't use her puddle jumper and they were rude about it to boot. The water was clean but not great lots of shallows. No changing rooms or good shower areas. Lots of shady picnic areas but i can go anywhere in the park for free and sit in the shade. Rock paths in areas where kids are barefoot ouch. No diaper change station. And I paid to go? The concession stand was decent but there was one worker doing all 3 jobs so it took a long time. The largest area is only for big kids and you have to wait for groups. If you don't have little ones maybe you would like it. But if you do don't bother. I will not be back. we left so dissatisfied with our...

Life guards took my kids life jackets away 5 minutes after waiting in line for them. My oldest daughter "7 years old" was in tears. She was asking me why and felt it was unfair, she was just trying to swim out to the inflatables. The lady literally made her take it off in the water. I couldn't even provide a good answer to my daughter because I totally agree with my daughter. That was uncalled for. My other daughter who is going down the inflatable water slide was asked by a manager to take her life jacket off to. I was right there next to her and I told him no way it's a safety concern because that area is deep and that is an inflatable. I asked for a refund and we left. I had two upset kids before supper on a beautiful Saturday. Definitely not...

The park I’d say is pretty nice, you can disc in the summer and sled in the winter, definitely not big enough hills to enjoy snowboarding in my opinion. It’s got walking trails which is nice, little pavilions and adequate parking. Great place for pictures. You can come across deer quite a bit of the times too.

There are a few downsides though, there are a few places there’s a little litter, not anything that can’t be picked up but enough that they should manage it a little better.

The parking lots are nice too.

Cops go through here frequently enough especially more towards and during the night. If you catch my drift it’s not a good place to roll up late at night unless you like talking to cops at 2am just...
