The Lake is nice. But the staff really couldn’t be bothered to tell anyone how their system works to get on the WIBIT. Which left my kids in tears. As I asked when we paid to get in how the system worked so we could go on it. (No other customers around at the time) and we’re told to go grab a life jacket and go. So we did and learned, there was a ticket system. So I went back up with the life jacket on asking what information I needed to know to be able to go on letting her know what she told me last time. And we’re told just get tickets(again no other customers waiting) So now i wait 30 minutes in a line behind a group of boys and get to the front and we’re told the kids had to be with me to get a ticket. Let them know I would have had them with me if they followed the signs that said no lining up ahead of the call time. Because then I could have seen the sign that said they had to be in line with me. Still no go, even tho I asked twice now and we have to go because by the time we wait for a third set of people it would have been three hours and that’s too long for my kids to be there without a major overstimulation breakdown. Please don’t do this to another family it was heartbreaking as they watched me ask twice and knew I wasn’t given any of this guidance...
Read moreWe’ve hosted our kids Birthday party here the last 3 years. Just did again this past weekend. They need to change up the inflatables. Having 15 kids in the party wait in line for over an hour and then can’t even get them all on so we couldn’t go. Very sad especially since it’s a kids bday and they look forward to it with their friends. They only take 25 kids out at a time which is understandable but if you have a birthday there should be a dedicated time for the party. When booking ask the party if they want that and for what 30 min time slot. Charge an additional fee for it if you need to. This way you don’t have kids waiting in line for over an hour when the party is 3 hours total. Other than that everything went ok. Party before ours didn’t clean up so we were left cleaning tables before we could setup. They should have their staff check and clean off tables before allowing the next party to setup. Soda and five pizzas were included in our package. They can only cook two pizzas at a time which we knew from prior years so we brought Little Cesar’s so the kids could eat right away and then used those 5...
Read moreThe deep section is not run well. You have to literally stand in line every 15 minutes or something for one of 25 "tickets" which gets you a life jacket. Then you can go out in the lake with a life guard leading like ducklings. It makes no sense and feels like standing in Russian bread lines. It's weird and off-putting and counter intuitive. Bunch of hoops just to go in the water. Just really over the top and inconvenient. If you're on the beach and just tanning, or staying away from the 16 year old kids who run it, it's kind of relaxing tho. Decent beach. The bureaucracy makes it not worth it to me when there's 15k lakes nearby that you don't have to race children to get a lifejacket and follow the teenage lifeguard like ducklings, for 15 minutes of water activities. But it's a ...
