Reserved a Jacuzzi Suite because online it shows them with a walk out patio. I get here an am told Jacuzzi Suites don’t have that anymore. Maybe update your online room pictures then. Also, for a casino that makes millions, you’d think they could afford to sound proof their rooms. That’s a huge negative on that. Ridiculous parents in room next to us having their annoying kids running wild and yelling. If ya can’t control your kids, don’t bring them out in public. ALSO!! When I went to complain about the noise to the front desk, I sarcastically said “I’m about to strangle em to get em Quiet”. SARCASM!! I get a visit from Security and not the loud annoying people next room over. “Threat of violence is not acceptable”. Maybe security should take my noise complaint as serious as my SARCASM!! But of course not, still stuck listening to loud people, because they walls and doors are crap and not even close to sound proof. The ridiculousness of this place is off the charts. Thought it would be a decent place to bring the wife on her birthday, THAT WAS A MISTAKE!! I wouldn’t stay at this place again, even if they comped me a room for an entire week. Not even certain I want to spend any of my money at their Casino. About to pack up and leave and just eat the cost of the room and not stay here. Guess I know a hotel/casino that I will never be a patron of again. Terrible service, garbage rooms and Security would rather take sarcasm more seriously than a legitimate noise complaint. Way to go SevenWinds for being the worst Hotel/Casino I’ve ever stayed at & it’s hasn’t even been 2 hours yet. Don’t waste your money here and whatever you do, don’t be sarcastic cause they will threaten to kick you out and ban you rather than address the real issue. Go ahead, ban me. Makes no difference as I’ll never stay here again!!
Another thing. Good luck taking a shower. 1 single light that hardly lights up the sink, let alone the shower on the other side. Apparently they just want you to try and shower in the dark. ALSO, apparently you have to call the morning staff to request a late check out as they do things differently than the evening staff?? Seriously! So if I want a later check out because I want to sleep in, I have to still wake up at a certain time because the evening staff and morning staff can’t be consistent with “how they do things”. Apparently the employees do whatever they want and make rules as they go. Just like having 4 females behind the front desk and every single one of them is looking down at their phones instead of paying attention to the people coming and going. Way to Go Front Desk! 🙄🙄
Just more reason to stay away from this place, Hotel AND Casino. Still haven’t made it down to their so called casino floor. Probably end up having Security follow me because my sarcasm is more serious than actual problems. Also, it took 5 of you so called security personnel to come tell a guest that they take sarcasm more serious than legitimate problems?? Give me a break. I work in Armed Personal Protection and Ive never needed 4 other officers to back me up on a ridiculous claim. And if you’re wondering if they ever talked to the loud annoying people that I complained about? No, they never did. They walked right by their room and instead harassed me about a sarcastic comment because apparently the lack of professional front desk staff deemed my sarcasm a threat.
And if you’re thinking a Jacuzzi Suite is worth the ridiculously high price they charge, trust me, it’s not. Apparently housecleaning can’t actually move furniture to REALLY clean a room. Found candy under the chair that I moved out of the way. Bonus points to housecleaning for being as lazy and unprofessional as the so called front desk staff. The “reclining chair” they give you, you’re basically sitting on the dang floor, it’s so low. Let’s not forget the two tables in this so called suite, that have no chairs to go with them. Don’t worry, I’ll just stand up and eat my food in this poor excuse of a suite.
Have yet to find a single good thing...
Read moreI went down to the bar around 6 P.M. I ordered a shot and a vodka gimlet. I am not a daily drinker, but after 52 years I know what I can handle. My plan was to get buzzed; hence the rental of my room. I do not drive drunk. I am college educated, and have worked as a professional for over 25 years. I have a lake front home. The reason I give these details is because alcoholics do not normally possess these characteristics. About 8 o'clock (this is a guesstimate) my boot either got caught on the carpet, or my pants, and I fell. It was a little embarrassing, but I had met a nice man who assisted me to stand. Approx 930 or so I went to listen to Karokee and get another drink. The aforementioned cocktails were the only 2 drinks I had ordered. I never left the casino floor, so I wasn't supplementing additional alcohol. My purse was to small to carry a flask, and I wasn't excessively using the bathroom. I don't think I even used the restroom. The bartender suggested I eat something. I was informed management was watching me. I went to the front desk of the casino and asked to speak with the manager. A security officer approached, and asked what I needed. I figured management sent him to deal with the problem. The security officer mentioned my fall, and this is why I was cut off. This really irked me. If the manager had concerns why wasn't I approached immediately. I was allowed to continue to gamble, for another hour if not two hours. What if it had been a medical issue? Low blood sugar, a stroke, or any other condition that might make a person fall. None of your staff assessed the situation, or even approached me to ask if I was ok. If the staff had genuine concern for me this is what would should have occurred. Monitor me closely as I discovered after my conversation with the officer makes me feel as if they wanted me to be drunk. I wasn't stumbling, slurring my speech, nor did have anymore falll. The security officer was simply screening my complaint, and hoping to get more ammo from our conversation to use against me. My night was ruined; I conceded, and I went to the restaurant to get food. The waitress was expecting me. They had obviously called and gave her a heads up... This was now the third employee who had prior knowledge. Why they felt they needed to embarrass me further I don't know. I was complacent in their request.I was not aggressive . I got my food, and went directly to my room. I wasn't hungry anymore which was a good thing because they forgot to give me silverware to eat my ceasar salad. I did eat the burger and fries. It was ok; nothing special. The dining room reminded me of a nursing home. This is where the manager approached me and said, "Did you want to speak with me." Every diner had stopped eating and conversing and was starring at me. I told him to forget it. The manager said fine, turned on his heels, and quickly walked away. I can't remember the last time I felt the need to make a complaint anywhere, but I have never been put on the spotlight like I was here. Your assessment of the situation and actions don't make sense and make me wonder who was drunk' me or the person orchestrating all this drama. If you think I had fallen due to drunkeness ( I was told this by several staff member why was I allowed to continue gambling? Isn't the point of monitoring alcohol use to ensure a person isn't impaired while gambling, I was only cut off after I stopped gambling. I came to your establishment to take a break from some emotional pain (details are not pertinent )and your employees inflicted more.
You cant have your cake, and eat it too. I was either drunk and you knowingly allowed me to gamble, or I wasn't, and I was singled out,...
Read moreAlways enjoy a new casino. Parking was good, gas station next door(spendier than in town!)This is a smaller casino. (Did I miss the other floors other reviewers spoke of?)Very nice, they keep it very clean, friendly staff. Yes, Smokey. Machines pretty tight. Most of the machines are the big bright newer ones. Penny machines mostly .60/.80/.90. They had many restaurants and a lounge with gambling, we didn’t try. I was visiting the area, probably wouldn’t come back. *7/4/22…well back again,(not by my choice!)camping close by. After reading the other reviews I realized I was missing a few things so I looked at it differently this time. We entered through the lounge which is a small bar area with some machines in there. You go up a few steps and you’re into the SMOKEY main floor which is a little bit larger but still not a big casino. Then I discovered in the back corner down a few steps the “slot machine graveyard” where they stuffed a few machines and called it a non-smoking section! Definitely not an inviting place, ha ha! But I will say, this stop at the casino the machines were a little kinder to me. I hit more bonuses than I did the last time, and we walked out about $11 ahead 🎉😂 If you’re in the area and you’re wanting a casino it’s your only choice, so make the stop if you want. My number of stars...
