In terms of activities this place is loaded not just an open space. All manner well maintained ball fields, good size parking lot, BBQ/Picnic areas (tables and BBQ setups, fenced in), paved walkway for jogging/biking, a pool (which I did not check out), volleyball, a dog run area (which was the busiest part of the park on this day), tennis, playground for the little ones, 2 restroom facilities.... and I am probably leaving something out. My only complaint is that the beach is fenced of. I guess in the name of child safety? It's a shame because the views are amazing (perhaps they should build some observation (or one) decks? For as much as there is to do it does not seem...

Love this local park. There are so much to do here: basketball, tennis, pool, playground, baseball, etc. My kids never get bored when they come to this park. The pool is clean and not crowded for the most part. The tennis court is free of charge, first come first serve basis. However, some courts are reserved for the Town’s tennis lessons during summer. There are so many shaded areas in the park. The only problem is that there are so many horseflies and mosquitoes in this park. As soon as I drive in the parking lot, I notice the flies...

The pool was so nice and clean, nice temp. The changing room and showers are numerous, very easy to clean off kids and get them in regular clothes after day at the pool. Were there green flies? Yes some. Would it stop me from going and enjoying the pool....NO! Its a diamond in the ruff (I don't even wanna share this post) but I also don't wanna see it torn down so I hope Oceanside and TOH find a way to update some of the facilities and keep...
