This is such a nice place. Hasn't changed much . Never should.
Nice people....families....seniors...
This might sound funny, but the people who come here tend to respect the property and each other. At no time have I ever seen anyone intentionally ruining it for anyone else.
UPDATE - FEBRUARY 23, 2022
Very serene and quiet during the winter. I saw about 10 deer. The folks say there are too many deer and that the herds will be culled. Sorry to report this. It's not a good time to be a deer.
UPDATE - JUNE 19, 2022
Still a fantastic place to be. Nice people. Nice place.
Fishing piers still need lights and a bathroom.
UPDATE - NOVEMBER 8, 2022
Very quiet during the off season. The deer are still walking around. One of them asked me if I had a WiFi signal. I didn't. We both moved on.
UPDATE - OCTOBER 16, 2023
No change. If you gosh here understand...sometimes the fishes come. Sometimes the fishies do not come. Today...they did not show up. Bummer!
UPDATE - FEBRUARY 20, 2024
Gorgeous but cold day here today. Scenic...but not much going on. February sunsets are breathtaking though.
UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 1, 2024 (Labor Day Sunday)
Please do not place the marina into the hands of the 1 percent.
99.9 of the people who come to this park, come by car or bus. The boaters get priority here. Instead of lights and a bathroom for fishermen and fishermen, we have no parking access and a long walk to the parking lot on the other side of the park.
Also, there is an over zealous employee who blasts her giant boom box across the entire marina even though the field is a silent radio zone.
This scares the deer and bunnies and gives everyone a headache. No radio should be for employees too...or use...

Date of Visit: July 2023
My family and I have been visiting Robert Moses State Park for years, and it used to be our favorite spot for beach outings and enjoying the outdoors in public parks. However, our recent visit in July 2023 left us with mixed feelings.
The park's natural beauty and scenic views remain unparalleled. The sandy shores and calming waves still offer a relaxing atmosphere for beachgoers. The facilities, such as clean restrooms and ample parking, continue to make the park easily accessible.
Unfortunately, we noticed a significant increase in marijuana smoking during our visit, which was quite disappointing. We were hoping for a family-friendly environment where everyone could feel comfortable and safe. The smell of marijuana was pervasive, making it uncomfortable for us and our kids to fully enjoy our time at the beach.
It would be beneficial if the park management took measures to enforce rules that promote a family-friendly environment and discourage smoking in public areas. Adding more visible signs reminding visitors to be mindful of others and keep the park smoke-free could be a step in the right direction.
We hope that the park authorities take our concerns into account and work towards preserving the park's family-friendly ambiance and ensuring a pleasant outing for...
