Roberto Clemente Park — Attraction in Town of Islip

I had a great time going to the pool with friends. But I was treated with disrespect by a food area worker. I tried to take some napkins from a box and couldn't do it. The Spanish guy came over and said" you can not take the napkin because you are Gorda menaing FAT.. He called me Fat. I felt embarrassed and I told him back. I reported it to a young life guard staff lady , I asked her who was the Supervisor and she stated I am, but she lied me. I reported the incident to her, and her answer was that , she did not have control over the food area. Days after I found out that The Supervisor was another lady. Walking around the perimeter of this park there is garbage strewn all around , the basketball courts littered with plastic water bottles and purple torn linen. there is all sorts of debris in the sand box where the little children run and play on the jungle gym. People walking their dogs on a leash and without a leash, even though DOGS ARE NO PERMITTED. Where is the park Ranger or Public Safety officer???? A few tickets would seem in order!!!! It's a great park, it might get a bad rep cause it's a Brentwood park for people who aren't local. But there's nothing bad about this park. There's a juggle gym for the gyms to play with a swing, a basketball court in good condition and there's plenty of field to play whatever field sport you want. Also a trail to walk or jog around. The pool is new and Renovated but I haven't had the chance to go in from what I here it's nice clean and cheap entrance (5$ per person) they also have free movie nights Mondays and Fridays at Dusk. Overall and very nice family friend park and I plan on coming here...
